Certifications
Being certified by an organisation means that you are authorised to perform analyses for this organisation. Most approvals currently rely on the ISO 17025 accreditation, in some cases extended with additional requirements. FYTOLAB is approved by:
- The Belgian Federal Food Safety Agency FAVV-AFSCA for the analysis of pesticides, mycotoxins and nitrates in food
- The Belgian Ministry of Health for analysis of physical and chemical properties of formulations of crop protection agents.

relana® stands for "reliable analysis" and was founded with the aim to ensure the quality and integrity of performed analysis within the food chain. To achieve this, relana® is currently developing a quality-circle of laboratories in Europa.
- The German quality System QS “Qualitát und Sicherheit”. FYTOLAB shows here that even additional requirements are met, such as a wide accreditation scope, content of the analyses and good results in QS and other ring tests.
- The German quality system Edeka AG, which in addition to accreditation includes a number of specific requirements for laboratories. FYTOLAB can enter the results of the Edeka samples immediately in the i-monitoring database.
- The German "Bundesverband Naturkost Naturwaren" (BNN) in the context of residu analysis on organic vegetables and fruits.As a result FYTOLAB is now listed as a certified laboratory and entitled to include BNN conclusions into our reporting system.
- The Dutch BIO-KAP organisation. FYTOLAB is recognized as one of the few laboratories, which, based on the recommendations of their participants, meets the high knowledge standards which are expected when performing high quality analysis on biological products.
FYTOLAB, because of his great specialization, also takes part in various working groups:
- The CEN TC275 working group concerning analysis of pesticide residues.
- CORESTA concerning analysis of pesticide residues in tobacco
